Short Melody No. 19 Chinese Tune
I always have been attracted to Chinese melodies, because they are beautiful in their simplicity. I often whistle the tunes - they do especially well. The beginning of my melody has a real Chinese sound, but then it moves towards the west: a passage that remembers of Mussorgski's 'Pictures of an Exhibition', and a passage with a bass line, commonly used in pop music. But the roots of this melody are Chinese!
